![]() To practice, stand still. Shift from right foot front to left foot front. Like most things you can more safely practice this on carpet or grass. Keep your knees bent slightly and flexible. Bob up and down. Keep hands out and ready. Shift feet again and again til you are not wobbly. Toe of back skate should come even with heel of front. Do all this at slower speeds on pavement. You'll feel more confident and stable! This is a great position to use when you are going to hit a bump, or gravel or do a jump. If you start to fall forward or back: MORE SPREAD! |
